The area is approximately 32x50 and you don't carry that big of a roll.AOur master gardener suggested a 4" - 6" overlap when installing.QInside large greenhouses, on top of sharp sand floor, with rows of 300 gallon grow bags would this be product stand up to years of foot traffic?AOur master gardener stated that the Dewitt Pro-5 Weed Barrier should be able to be used for this application.QHello I have cleared a plot and want to kill off all growth by blocking sunlight and plant that plot at a later stage will this material do that?AIf given appropriate time, this cloth will prevent plant growth underneath it and should kill any existing growth due to lack of sunlight beneath the material.QDoes the shiney side go on the bottom or top?AOur master gardener usually recommends installing the Dewitt Pro-5 Weed Barrier with the fuzzy/felt-like side of the fabric facing the ground.QDoes this product increase the soil temperature as a black mulch would do?AOur master gardener stated that the Dewitt Pro-5 Weed Barrier may warm the soil temperature somewhat, however, he also stated that the temperature should not increase to the point of potentially harming the plants being grown, due to the breathable, woven design of the fabric.QI am looking for a weed barrier that I can plant with and use on landscaping around the house and sidewalks to keep weeds away and will be putting rocks on top what do you suggest?AThe Dewitt Pro-5 Weed Barrier can be used in this application.QWhere are these manufactured?AThe Dewitt Pro-5 Weed Barrier is fabricated in China.QDoes this fabric have a fuzzy side or are both sides smooth? Looking for a fabric that I can use in a garden that is easy to remove and reuse each year. I have used fabrics that are fuzzy on one side and they stick too much to the soil when I want to pull them up again and some of the fabric rips off and stays in the soil.AThe Dewtt Pro-5 Weed Barrier does have a felt-like backing. For a weed barrier fabric without this feature, we would suggest using the Polypropylene Ground Cover (GR-SB32).
